Our Team
Jenny Hansen is a life long theatre performer and educator. She graduated from BYU with BFA in Musical Dance Theatre and Theatre Education. She started teaching high school theatre in 1997 and has taught in private and public schools, Universities, and programs since. Jenny is a member of Lyric Opera Theatre and MT curriculum writer for UNR in Reno, Nevada for a decade, before moving on to Tuacahn in St. George Utah. 2013 found her relocating with her husband Mike and 3 children to Queen Creek AZ where she has been full time with ALAQCHS since 2014!
When not in the classroom you can find her in NYC seeing shows, going to workshops, taking dance/acting/vocal lessons, or traveling around the world! Her husband of 30 years is her travel partner that also shares her love of cultures and places! She also loves spending time with her expanding family-4 grandchildren in the last 3 years!

High School Theatre
The theatre program is an integral part of school culture at American Leadership Academy, Queen Creek 7-12. Students have opportunities to learn about professional careers in film, television and continuing on to the college level. Recurring tryouts are held to select participants for plays, musicals, Shakespeare performances and state ranked festivals.
